2017 Tax Information

Last year, the North Carolina Department of Revenue, in an effort to help combat identity theft and refund fraud, added an additional layer of authentication to tax return filing. In order to achieve this, we are required to obtain from all taxpayers for which we prepare and e-file individual income tax returns, a valid driver’s license or state identification card. The information we obtain from these cards will be sent electronically to the N C Department of Revenue with your electronic return. If you are a new client or have renewed your license in the past year, please bring this with you when visiting our office.

The IRS standards require us to verify bank account numbers that will be used for direct deposit or withdrawals, so please verify that the numbers that appear in your tax organizer are accurate.
